Founded 63 years ago, the brass band of Meiden High School of Aichi Institute of Technology is one of the most prestigious brass bands in Nagoya, having participated in 40 national competitions and won the gold prize 16 times. Their debut album "Bra Bang! Meiden" ranked No. 1 in the classical music category of Oricon's weekly album ranking on June 8. The last time a debut album by a high school brass band reached No. 1 was for Fukuoka's Seika Girls High School Brass Band's debut album, "Hot Blood! Braban Girls" was the first debut work by a high school brass band since the debut work of Fukuoka's Seika Girls' High School Brass Band, "Nekketsu! They gave a dream concert at the Vienna Musikverein's Great Hall (Musikverein Saal), a hall of music familiar to audiences for the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra's New Year's Concert!
