As I record my third and final disc, I feel as if I am at the starting point of a long journey of exploration rather than having reached the end point. Joseph Lin■ Joseph Lin (violin)Joseph Lin, Taiwanese-American, was born in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1978. In 1996, he was named a U.S. Presidential Scholar for the Arts, and in 1999, at the age of 21, he became the youngest recipient of the Pro Musiciansis International Award. He has performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, Kiev National Philharmonic, Philharmonia Taiwan, and others. She has appeared at the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Symphony Hall (Boston), Wigmore Hall (London), Salle Cortot (Paris), Kennedy Center (Washington, DC), Weill Recital Hall (New York), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), etc., and has performed regularly at festivals in Marlboro, Seattle, etc. She also regularly participates in music festivals in Marlboro, Seattle, and other cities.As a founding member of the Formosa Quartet, he won the first prize at the London International String Quartet Competition in 2006, and since 2011 has been active worldwide as the first violinist of the Juilliard String Quartet.
