With this ingenious device you can get home when you break your derailleur hanger on the road or trail. Simply remove your broken derailleur hanger, derailleur and QR Nut. Insert the QR Skewer through the Emergency Hanger, remove the spring and re-attach the nut. Tighten the QR nut firmly. Reattach the derailleur and off you go! In most cases, you should be able to shift half (or more!) of your rear cassette. Sorry, this hanger is designed as a quick, emergency solution to get you home and is not designed for long-term use.
